Note*25 November 1824 James Ludlam and Martha his wife, George McKeige and Sarah his wife sold to Daniel McKeige for $3000 dollars 585 acres. This property ran the whole length of Gibson Creek road and was on both sides of the road. It included Joseph Ludlam's old homestead. Joseph Ludlam bought the landfrom John Steelman in 1761. There might be connection to the McKeigs due to the sale of land between them. Daniel was born 1761 in Ireland. Daniel's wife Mary was born in 1772, which would have made her about 17 years old if she and Daniel are the parent's of George McKeige. It is possible the Daniel and Mary are the parents of George McKeige. This assumption is according to Joyce dated 8/13/2001.
